I’m a mom to 1 senior dog (13 years old), 2 puppies, 2 kids under 10, and my wonderful husband, Jeff. Our house is often loud, crazy, and most importantly – fun!
I was born in the 1980’s and grew up in the Midwest. As a child, I wasn’t really into sports, but I rode horses for about 8 years. I loved hunt/jump and dressage. I miss horses and hope that maybe when I’m older I’ll get to ride more or maybe one of my kids will take up riding and we can ride together.
DISNEY!! I could write 10 pages on my love of Disney, which I’ve had since as long as I can remember. If someone asked me to tell them my all time favorite Disney movies, I don’t wouldn’t know how to even pick! Some of my favorites are Aladdin, The Lion King, and Moana. I’ve only been to Disney World twice and Disney Land once, but each time was completely magical. We have Disney+ and watch it all the time. It’s completely worth the money!
Hmmm…what else is there you should know about me??? I actually wasn’t always a reader. When I was younger, maybe around 8 or 9, I had a friend who loved reading. One summer, she insisted on reading books during summer vacation. I wasn’t very fond of this idea, but being the friend I am, I agreed with it. I mean, how harmful could reading be? This was the turning point in my reading journey. I found RL Stine, Christopher Pike, Bonnie Bryant and Joanna Campbell. Through these authors, I found my love of reading and have been an avid reader since.
