Better than a Romeo and Juliet
Max Monroe delivers another hilarious 𤣠page turning RomCom! You wonât want to put this one down!
Jake is a single dad, whoâs teenage daughter signs him up for a Bachelor Anonymous contest to try and have him meet a woman through a series of blind dates who he will fall in love with. Holley is the reporter assigned to documenting and organizing the dates. Little does she know, sheâs the one who is falling in love with the Bachelor.
This book is so good! I had forgotten how funny Max Monroe is. My husband asked me a few times what was so funny while I was reading. I read some of the parts to him and he snickered too!
I normally love strong funny women leads. Holley isnât the kind of strong who would be a leading FBI agent, but she is the kind of strong who goes after what she wants when she figures out what that is. She may do it in an awkward and often hilarious way, but she will do it.
Speaking of doing it đ For those of you interested, there is one sex scene. By the time it comes around, youâre already so worked up from the previous âalmost sexâ events, the release is definitely needed!
Overall, this book is definitely worth the read! And hopefully Iâll remember to read Garretâs story when it comes out. Happy reading yâall!!
